I want to thank all the voters who went to the polls and voted this year. While the outcome may have seemed inevitable, it's still important for us to exercise our right to vote. I appreciate those of you who still cast those ballots.
Your vote also means a lot to those candidates who ran with opposition. I want to congratulate my good friend and colleague, Vince DeJoy, for his win in City Council Ward IV. I welcome and look forward to working with newcomers Timothy Hoyer in Legislative District 14 and Robert Whitney in Legislative District 15.
Thank you to my friends who still worked hard to get out the vote this year.
And I especially want to thank my wife, Becky, and my two sons, Joe and John, for their patience and support, not just at election time, but every single day.
Again, thank you!
